About Savannah Goldfields
Savannah Goldfields Ltd (ASX: SVG) is a Queensland-based gold producer driving a hub-and-spoke growth strategy across one of Australia’s most prospective and historic gold regions.
A Regional Gold Producer in Far North Queensland
- Savannah Goldfields operates in the Etheridge Goldfield, a district that has produced more than 3.7 million ounces of gold.
- With production underway and exploration accelerating, the company is positioned to deliver both near-term cashflow and long-term growth.
The Georgetown Processing Hub
- At the centre of Savannah’s operations is the Georgetown Gold Processing Plant (GGPP) — a 200 ktpa carbon-in-pulp (CIP) facility located ~480 km southwest of Cairns.
- It is the only operational gold plant within a 400 km radius, giving Savannah a strategic advantage as the regional processing hub for its own ore and third-party feed.
Flagship Gold Projects: Georgetown and Agate Creek
- Savannah’s two cornerstone projects host a combined JORC (2012) Mineral Resource of 553,000 oz Au.
- Production recommenced at Georgetown in November 2025, marking the company’s first gold campaign.
- From mid-2026, high-grade ore from Agate Creek (2.5 g/t Au) will provide at least two years of feed for the Georgetown plant — supporting forecast EBITDA of ~A$50 million per year at >50% margins.
Exploration and Expansion Potential
- Savannah holds 515 km² of granted tenure across 30 mining and exploration licences.
- Current drilling programs target oxide and sulphide extensions to grow resources and extend mine life.
- With a fully funded restart, strategic infrastructure, and near-term cashflow, Savannah is well placed to expand production and drive regional consolidation.
Leadership and Vision
- Savannah Goldfields is led by a highly experienced team with expertise spanning gold mining, project development, finance, and governance.
- The company’s focus is clear — responsible production, organic growth, and unlocking value across Far North Queensland’s gold belt.
