BOARD
Stephen Bizzell (Executive Chairman)
B.Com, ACA, MAICD, SIA(AFF)
Stephen is the chairman of a boutique corporate advisory and funds management group Bizzell Capital Partners Pty Ltd, and director of a number of ASX listed companies. Stephen has considerable experience and success in the fields of corporate restructuring, debt and equity financing, and mergers and acquisitions and has over 30 years’ corporate finance and public company management experience. Stephen was an Executive Director of Arrow Energy, a company he co-founded in 1999, and sold to a JV between Shell and PetroChina in 2010 for $3.5 billion.
Peter Wright (Non -Executive Director)
B. Ec \ B.Com, B. App. Fin
Peter Wright has over 20 years experience in the financial markets with a focus on investment in the resources sector. He is currently an Executive Director of Bizzell Capital Partners, a Brisbane based corporate advisory and funds management firm. He is also currently an Executive Director of ASX listed graphite miner, Greenwing Resources Ltd. Mr Wright holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Economics from ANU in Canberra and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.
Mark Baker (Non-Executive Director)
BA, GAICD
Mark is a former senior editor and national editorial executive with Fairfax Media. Mark has extensive experience working across Asia and in government relations at a national and state level. He is a board member of the Defence Reserves Support Council (Victoria), has a Bachelor of Arts degree and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Rick Anthon (Non-Executive Director)
BA, LLB, MAICD
Rick Anthon is a practicing lawyer with over 30 years experience in both corporate and commercial law. Mr Anthon also has extensive experience in the resource sector, as a director of a number of resource companies and as legal advisor, including acquisition and development, capital raising and corporate governance.

Brett Thompson (Chief Executive Officer)

Brett Thompson is a highly experienced mining executive with 40 years’ experience in the international mining industry, during which time he has demonstrated innovative leadership in
improving the value of significant mining operations around the world. He was from 2019 until recently the Head of Operations for AngloGold Ashanti’s Obuasi gold mine in Ghana, West Africa. Prior to this Brett has held a number of senior executive roles in the mining industry including as COO of ASX listed diamond miner Kimberley Diamonds Ltd, General Manager of Anglo American’s Dawson coal mine in Central QLD, and CEO of London listed diamond miner Pangea Diamondfields plc. In addition, Brett has held senior operational and corporate roles
in gold and other commodities with large and junior mining companies throughout Africa, South America and Australia as well as involvement in consulting and contract mining.
Scott Hall (COO & Exploration Manager)
B.Sc (Hons), AusIMM (Member)
Scott is a qualified Geologist with a double major in Chemistry and Geology with honours in Geology from the University of Melbourne. Scott has more than 20 years experience in exploration and mining operations within Australia. Scott’s experience covers all facets of mining and exploration for a large variety of minerals including managing and hands-on involvement in gold and coal exploration projects for Savannah in Australia and New Zealand. During his tenure in the NT, Scott was successful in the role of Mine Operations Manager for an gold mine and responsible for its metallurgical processes. Scott is also the competent person responsible for the Mineral Resource Statements issued by Savannah.
Paul Marshall (Company Secretary and CFO)
LLB, Grad Dip Acc & Fin, CA
Paul is a Chartered Accountant. He holds a Bachelor of Law degree, and a post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance. He has over 30 years experience having worked for Ernst and Young for ten years and subsequently more than twenty years spent in commercial roles as Company Secretary and/or CFO for a number of listed and unlisted companies mainly in the resources sector. He has extensive experience in all aspects of company financial reporting, corporate regulatory and governance areas, business acquisition and disposal due diligence, capital raising and company listings and company secretarial responsibilities.
